Landfill-Free Initiative

My whole life has been influenced by the great outdoors. I was trained to understand that, as landscapers, we have a responsibility to the environment that we work with and in. This lesson was never lost on me.

With a career spanning over 30 years, I have become disheartened and upset witnessing the amount of garbage and environmental degradation that the construction and landscaping industry have been responsible for. My response is to implement and follow some Best Management Practices that will help reverse this trend.

My goal is to ensure that 99.9% of the products that will be used in or on our jobs will be recycled properly. This includes all soils, asphalts, concrete, metal, wood and plastic packaging.

Best Management Practices

  • Recycle all soils, asphalst, concrete, metal, wood, and plastic used in our daily operations

  • Using wet saws to minimize dust impact

  • Protecting sewers from contaminants, including mud, but specifically oils and gas

  • Keeping all gas powered equipment clean for optimum performance and minimal emissions

  • Using only trucking companies with vehicles that are kept to the same high standards

It is my goal that, with time, we can grow this initiative and that our clients can feel confident knowing that we did our absolute best to help our environment.

Check in from time to time to see how this initiative is growing.
